CONVERGENCE OF LUZON ICT CHAMPIONS CONFERENCES AND EXHIBITIONS (CLICkConEx 2022)
A convergence of Luzon’s ICT Champions with the aim of developing ICT in the Public, Private, Government and Academe sectors of their locales, sharing innovation and collaborating on cracking the code to the creation and running of a #DigitalPH. A collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP), CLICCONEX 2022 will bring together industry, academe and government agencies together and talk about the northern island of the Philippines thrust towards “Building bridges to innovation and sustainability in Luzon”. This year host is the Bataan ICT Development Council.
ICT Industry Development Bureau (IIDB)
The ICT Industry Development Bureau (IIDB), in partnership with NICP, will be conducting the NICP ICT Summit. The primary aim of the event is to support local ICT councils in promoting ICT development initiatives and investments. It is a gathering of ICT councils and public and private stakeholders to share best practices, promote local and provincial government units as investment destinations, and strengthen the ICT ecosystem in the countryside. With the Philippines actively transforming into an ICT-empowered nation, it is paramount that there be a national convergence of the stakeholders and interested parties of the National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP). The organization was able to successfully conduct three (3) of the regional cluster conferences this year which shall be consolidated into a deeper engagement through a national summit.
The theme “Accelerating Digital Transformation in Challenging Times” will be able to encompass the national temperature on technology in the middle of a global health crisis. Through this summit, we will be able to effectively transform the conversations into a more tangible collaboration in order to make sure that Filipinos are empowered in making decisions through the aid of technology.
